I was wondering if anyone had any stories about sports and/or games they came across on the Camino? (Either spectator or participatory.) I searched this website but except for a thread about bowling:

...I didn't find much.
I personally don't have much to report. One night in Palacio Do Rey I slept on the gym floor of the polideportivo with three guys from Madrid. We found a ball in the corner and played a spirited game of soccer (many of you rightly call it football). Other than that, and walking past a few unoccupied frontones, I didn't find much. You?
