Any suggestions please for reasonable accommodation in Paris near Gare St Lazarre for a couple of nights before heading south. Thanks in advance.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
Sorry, I've only ever stayed near Gare Montparnasse to take the TGV South.
Handy to walk into central arrondissements.
'Reasonable' is always a tough call.
What's your budget?
That will help others make a suggestion.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
I see they don't open until 1600, my flight will probably arrive around 0800, do you know if there anywhere nearby that a person could store their bag during the day so you don't have to carry it while sightseeing?

Hotel Cordelia on Rue Greffuhle. 5-10 minute walk to St Lazare. 200€+/- iirc

My suggestion is EasyHotel, adjacent to Metro Station Front Populair. It is not *near* Gare St Lazare, but it is on the same Metro Line, Line 12, direction Marie d'Aubervilliers (green on the standard Paris Metro Map).
It is a modern budget hotel (opened early 2023). It is branded the same as Easyjet but, in my experience at least, has higher service standards!
It can be booked via Booking.com or via the EasyHotel app. Depending on when you are travelling, and how far in advance you book, it can be as little as €50 per night or as much as €150 for an en suite room with a very comfortable double bed. The reception staff have been consistently helpful when we have stayed there, so may be content to store your bag(s) and/or check you in early if a room is ready.
Top tip: Ask if they have a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower!

You can leave your luggage at Adveniat. They confirm this on their website.

'Adveniat Hostel is open 24h/24. Luggage deposit is available all-day long. Check-in and access to rooms are available from 4pm to 10pm.'

If you are staying more than one night, bear in mind that you have to vacate the rooms between 10 am and 4pm each day.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Chances are quite good that you then will take RER-B into the town; and as such get off at Gare du Nord
They have luggage storage: Luggage Storage at Gare du Nord

I stored my backpack in there after my stay, but not before. But I think you probably can, because there is a front desk, just maybe put a remark when you book, the hostel manager was very nice, she answered my questions before my arrival via email. Tip: try book on their website directly.

When do you travel? The Olympic Games will take place in Paris from July 26, 2024 – August 11, 2024. Everything is a lot more expensive during that time.

Sacré cœur basilica has a guesthouse. 40 euro for a single room or 15 in the dorm. Breakfast included. It’s maybe a 10 or 15 minute metro ride or a half hour walk to/from your station. Reception opens at 8:30 am you could ask if they’d accommodate your bag.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
