Paradores discounted

I just received an email advising of a discounted rate for paradores if the booking is made before 11 October - but for accommodation until 12 April next year. León, both paradores at Santo Domingo, those on the Norte, and on other caminos - lots. The rate is €60 for most - expensive compared to an albergue (!) but a good deal for such luxury hotels, and an experience to be savoured at least once while you are in Spain. Especially if you are freezing your way along a winter Camino!
Go to www.paradores.es to check it out (sorry, can't upload the link on my iPhone).

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
Sounds a good deal and was thinking to treat myself when I've crossed the Sierra Nevada in a few weeks, but sadly Granada is not included in the deal - best price offered: €340 a night. Perhaps not.

Thanks, @Kanga , I have booked my first Parador! They have always been out of my price range and also I didn't want to stay in one alone while my other camigos were in an albergue around the corner, but for walking with my husband it will be a welcome treat.

Leon Parador at end of August €99 for two
SdC Parador mid September €189
The look on the face of Eduardo the concierge in SdC when he saw me in my dripping Altus and Tilley hat . . . priceless!
The breakfast in Leon was nicer too.
