Camino de Santiago: August - September 2019
Hola my fellow Pilgrims,
It felt very weird and bitter sweet logging back into the site, I haven't been on in a year since I finished hiking the Camino de Santiago. I used this very cool and imformative website in the run up to my trip as I was prepping to go! I've since kept in touch with old friends, stuck a flag patch recently on my backpack where my shell once lay and bought a small silver shell necklace. It was life changing and I guess you could say I found myself on the way. And a few of us decided that one day we'll definitely do it again, until then I've since found a liking for hiking. I recently returned from Asia having hiked up Mt Fuji and a walk on the wild side of the Great Wall, all in aid of charity too, for ROWW Reach out world wide. As I'm once again getting over my backpacking blues, I've found it hasn't been much of a struggle to fall back into reality like Spain where my heart still is!
I've researched future trips like South America doing Machu Pichu for next Summer and the new Euro Peace trail, but something tells me they won't hold a candle when compared to the Camino! Anyways I did a new video of my time in Asia, check it out sometime cheers and Buen Camino Craig
