Off Season Camino del Nortes

Just a random question...

I am starting the Camino from Irun at the end of October and plan to walk until the turn point to the Primitivo, and doing that route to Santiago...

As this will be off season, I understand most of the Albergues will be closed...

Is it still possible to collect stamps during those off-peak months of October/November?

Hi Torti

I'm also planning on walking the Camino at the end of October.............perhaps we could share a tent?

Check each stage/etape on this site and you will see many are open all year round-if you want any more help please ask. it is a wonderful route but the stages are long and isolated.

I am starting the same route in late September 2013 - according to a brochure I picked up last time and the Eroski Consumer site, http://caminodesantiago.consumer.es/los-caminos-de-santiago/del-norte/ a lot of the hostels will be open. I will be keeping track as I go and could post for you on my blog when each one closes. I am doing the research to beta test my Camino Norte app anyway, so I will have the info.
