Its amazing
we live in these wonderful times, where accessibility to so many forms of Media are available for archiving life on the Camino.
Every word, every photo, every story..a snapshot of some instance in someones life, and together, a small slice of a community's life..the life of a movement.

someone, someday will look back on these moments and dissect, interact and minutely examine the time we lived, the way we lived it, and why.
or not...
the movement of a peoples is always a point of interest to someone in some later somewhere and when

why did we move so
what was the migration to a point for
where did they come from
when did they do this
how was the way they did it?

were not lemmings on some instinctual and forgotten drive to move...
what we leave behind
and why should be a motivating factor

someday...
there may not be the freedoms to move as we do

someday the drive to move, the memory of the Journey may fade from human experience
the sublime mystery of Santiago may fade into history
some dusty tomes in some corner of an ancient library
some hard media found, dust ridden and fragile in some attic
some hard drive, decoded
what will they find?

how will someone with old images, compare them to the place they stand at now?
what will have changed
will they feel the same?
what will they feel?

will you awaken the ember of wonder?
will they seek to understand
will they understand?

make a memory
and share a memory

make them wonder..
who we were
why..

On my last Camino (2023) I noticed that there were lots of tourists. It reminded me of a couple of quotes that I have read since my first Camino (2015) “A tourist demands, a pilgrim is grateful”...

Day 42 Week 6 460km walked (give or take) Today I had a revelation, an epiphany and a Divine Intervention... all in one day. Today the exreme pain in my soul is dissipating some... healed by the...
