Hi Elvie,
You must first get to Pontevedra from Redondela, and then you can get onto the Variante Espiritual.
You can find some maps here:

Scroll down and you will find:
VARIANTE ESPIRITUAL DO SALNÉS
and some maps of the route.

thank you. Isn't there a boat to arcade from porrino. Friends said they did that today.

Holoholo automatically captures your footpaths, places, photos, and journals.
No boat to Arcade from O Porino: that is inland.

For the Variante, look for flyers in the albergues, they were in just about every albergue when I walked in 2016. It splits from the central some 5 km after Pontevedra, after you walk along the train tracks along a very straight path. You cannot miss it.

The boat is from Villagracia de Arousa to a couple of km before Padron. It all gets organised by the albergue, and leaves at times depending on the tide.

Sorry, no river connecting Porriño and Redondela or Arcade. These are on the coast, or rather, on the Vigo Estuary. Porriño is inland. Furthermire, the river/stream that fliws through Porriño is not navegable.

Buen Camino
