Stunning photos. I had the good fortune of witnessing Tibetans doing the same as they arrived in Lhasa. They prostrate themselves for weeks and sometimes months on months on end. A very humble and gentle people.
I went to LEH in Ladakh in North India, high high up in the himalayas, which is a Tibetan settlement of some sort. Its so high up in the himalaya mountains that breathing is hard for the un-initiated... during the early days after arrival there. The landscape is breath taking. McLeod Ganj where the Dalai Lama lives is something else to see. Superb !!! The mountains, the people, local food, friendly vibes. Gives your soul the peace you need. Buen Camino Caesar
