Notre Dame de Paris, the surrounding area

This article by Kim Willsher in The Guardian describes the newly chosen plan by Bas Smets for redesigning the surrounding area about Notre Dame cathedral in Paris to make it more inviting. This transformation will begin in 2025. Included will be many more trees, a cooling sheet of water on the parvis facing the cathedral, and a new reception center/archaeological museum.

Oh! Paris is my favorite city for public toilettes. There are thousands of self standing single occupancy toilets all around the main city center. They self clean after each use and are free.

I found toilettes in Tuileries Garden. Cost 2€ each to use them.
Other than there or a gallery or museum, buy an expresso at a bar and use the toilettes. It is acceptable.
