I checked to see if someone else had posted about this but didn't see a posting. If there was one feel free to delete
This morning as I was downloading a podcast about my football team, The New York Giants, I came across a podcast called the Scholarly Pilgrim Podcast. Took my dog for our morning walk and after the 55 minute Giant podcast I listened for about 20 minutes to the the Scholarly Pilgrim. The little I have heard so far is full of information. For someone like myself who is not Christian, who doesn't know too much about Kings and Queens and other Nobles or what the different names or significance of Christian artifacts dating from the life of Jesus until about the 11th Century, it was a dizzying outpouring of history. I found the podcast historian to be monotone and dry. For you older folks like myself, especially those from the US but I am sure other countries too, it reminded me when we were in school and the teacher had a slide presentation with a record playing. There would be a beep at the end of the narrator's description of the slide we were looking at to signal the teacher to go to the next slide. The historian sounds alot like those records.
Having said that I will keep listening. My mind did wander a bit at times but for all of us who love Camino there is lots of good information. GIve it a listen and you can decide for yourself.
Here is the website that will give you a description and links to download the podcasts. He is releasing one every month. There are two that are released as of now.

Nice! I’m a huge fan of digging into the history of the places I go. I feel like it grounds me more and gives me a sense of contribution to that history even if it’s only in a few small interactions and a number of footsteps

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
