Too many and too often!
An interesting little snippet of news. The local bomberos in Burguete have just acquired a new all-terrain vehicle which should allow them access to off-road sections of the Camino even in snow. This is in response to an increasing number of rescue calls from pilgrims during the winter months. It is sad that this should be necessary but good to know that the service is there if required.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Good to see I always wondered why I never saw any sign of snow mobiles even with the locals. The upper ridges would be beautiful in the winter & much space to ride.
