Monbus began selling tickets online about a week ago (June 14?). We booked tickets Santiago-Muxia and Fisterra-Santiago. Payment went through fine, though we never received an email confirmation. Fortunately I took a picture of the confirmation pages, including our record numbers, which allowed us to access our records. We printed out the tickets at our hotels.
When we boarded the first bus, the driver worked hard to get the QR code on the tickets to scan, but it finally worked. The driver on the 2nd bus, after several minutes, declared the new system “a disaster!” and waved us onto the bus.
Folks who used the QR codes from their phones seemed to have marginally better success. The ones who bought tickets as they boarded had no problems whatsoever.
