Canadians wanting to make use of budget flights from Stansted may find flyglobespan's new service from Toronto useful. Starts at Christmas from Pearson and transfers to nearby Hamilton from May.

There's also a weekly service Hamilton-Liverpool which might be useful for return from Santiago.
