The video is marked as unlisted. That may be why you couldnt find it in a search. If you go to YouTube directly and pick any video and go to share it and select the "Copy link" option, you will see that YouTube creates a link in the same format, with the same spelling ("youtu.be"). It is they way they create short URLs.Caution! I wanted to forward a link to a friend and It came up odd. Here it is, minus the https:
youtu.be/9tEj6Bhy7bw
Note the spelling of youtube, this is a common way hackers use to gain access to your computer. I also went to directly to youtube and searched, but couldn't find the same video. I'm not the most knowledgeable person about computer stuff, so hopefully someone an tell me how this isn't a trick and it's all safe.
This was a very moving song and I teared up.
Thanks David, and sorry about the false alarm. It's such a beautiful song. The video is marked as unlisted. That may be why you couldnt find it in a search. I wouldn't worry about it.
youtube.com and youtu.be are both owned by Google and safe. But you are correct about bad guys misspelling domain names to trick us. Also, another trick is to spell them correctly but use a Greek or Cyrillic letter that looks like the ASCII letter. If suspicious of that, the remedy is to type the URI yourself.Note the spelling of youtube, this is a common way hackers use to gain access to your computer.
