Hi!

Four of us made the journey from SJPDP beginning mid-May and ending (in a physical sense only!) in mid-June of this year. During the adventure I wrote a nightly blog complete with a wealth of pictures. Upon returning home I put the entire blog into a document and self-published it in an electronic form for a Kindle (you can also read it on any device which has a Kindle reader: iPhone, iPad, Android phone/tablet, Mac, Windows PC, etc) on Amazon.com (didn’t realize that it was so easy to do this. Very cool!). It’s all there…the preparations, the good (the great!), the painful, the funny, the tips, the weather, and the ironic…with plenty of each!

The book is called “Four Pilgrims – A Journey on the Camino de Santiago

My intent was to give a real sense of what it was like to live through our Camino experience. I would have liked to pass along to you all the sights, sounds, tastes, feelings, and even smells along the way (yes…the smells are something that you won’t forget…for better and worse!) but sadly I can’t do all of that. I had to restrict myself to describing our journey through words and pictures.

You can get the book at the Amazon website: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DNQEBC6

From our friends here at home and from our friends that we met on the Camino we’ve gotten some (honestly) good reviews…the general sense is that it makes for a very enjoyable read. So I hope that you enjoy it. Let me know if you do!

While you will probably get tired of me saying this in the book if you read it (!)…I still want to wish you a…Buen Camino!

Many questions: Need to pay $5 to read your blog or book? Can't you put somewhere where everyone can read for free? Did you start writing to make money? Is this consistent with El Camino de Santiago spirit?
