Thanks for the heads up! I'm flying into Porto on May 15th, so I think I'll miss it. Flying out of Madrid so praying for stability there! Prayers for all travelers.

I'm scheduled to fly into Lisbon May 17. According to the article that is not one of the strike days. However, I'm scheduled to fly out of Lisbon on June 11, which is one of the strike days. I'm not sure how to keep informed on this. If anyone on this feed gets updates, I would appreciate knowing. Thanks for posting this! (Hopefully, the unions and government can come to agreement before these strikes actually take place.)

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
I was scheduled to fly out of Lisbon on the day of an airport ground staff strike two years ago. I wasn’t informed about it by the airline (and hadn’t found out about it through other means), so I went to the airport and saw that my flight and most others were cancelled. I was rebooked for the following day so it worked out OK (although I had to get another PCR test that afternoon because my previous two were no longer inside the 96/72 hour timeframe that was required to enter Japan at the time!).
