Hi,
Just completed CP central. Need to purchase a small suitcase in SdC. Any suggestions in old town or closer than el Corte Ingles?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Find a China Bazar, Oriental Bazar, or similar shop. Ask around.

There are at least half-a-dozen in the old town and in the new town area. They sell all kinds of stuff, including inexpensive nylon duffel bags and luggage that should be good for one trip home.

I regularly buy lots of stuff whenever I am in Spain. I use this method if I go overboard. It works great.

When done, donate the used bag, or continue to use it.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks! I’ll give that a try!
There’s also a shop on Rua do Preguntoro that I found (after I bought a much more expensive one outside the old town, somewhere near Zara). If you find The Last Stamp Albergue and then walk down this street away from where it crosses the Camino, it’s on the right.
(There’s also an excellent spot for breakfast across the street from The Last Stamp: Milonga’s. Many happy breakfasts consumed there!)
