My partner’s 2L water bladder has sprung a leak. We’re in Madrid, ahead of getting the 3pm bus from here to Belorado to start walking from tomorrow.

Where is the best place to buy a new bladder in central Madrid? We’re currently by the Puerta del Sol.

I can see there’s a Decathlon north of Gran Via but I’ve never actually been inside one and don’t want to spend time going in the wrong direction. Is that the best place, or somewhere else?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Just curious as to the brand of the hydration reservoir? Both the old one and the new one?

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
I’m glad you got sorted so quickly, but I also think you should be reassured that 99% of the time on the Frances you will have access to lots of fresh water. With the exception of the Meseta, where we slipped up badly.

The old one was a Platypus. I bought it in 2008 but stored it well for years. It only received its first use in 2018. It sprung a leak in the seam toward the bottom. The replacement from Decathlon is this Bolsa 2L one (link edited so it now works!). He’s actually finding it better than the Platypus so far.

It served a long an productive life. . . .The King is dead, long live the King :)

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
