It also makes sense chanted as a motivational prayer, while struggling up a muddy and slippery rock-strewn hill on a wet, windy day.

You are very talented indeed. Perhaps you could collaborate with William Garza (forum member). He writes beautiful descriptive poetry and prose about the Camino. Some of his material is prayer-like, and much of it would likely take well to being set to a tune. You can find him with a quick member search. He hails from Corpus Christi, TX.
