In search of a decent Islay malt?“in peatus causa”
@Mars R if you are looking for an alternative to Sarria, to do the 100km, think about Ourense on the Sanabrés. A great route (apart from the first 3 km out of the valley).

Thank you for your feedback. I am doing some research and was wondering; are there Albergues on this route or will we be forced to look for alternative accommodation? The Sanabres is a lovely walk - we did it 2 years ago - my 87 y.o. (then) father took a taxi to meet us 2/3 of the way up the hill just out of Ourense but it really wasn't as tough as expected.
Just go with the flow!
Buen Camino
1. What is the last town to start on the del norte for me to still qualify for my Compostela?
2. Will it be easily accessible?
3.Two stamps per day required (and attainable?)
Like Sarria on the French way?
