The recent thread about walking in Portugal in a 7 day window, and @Elle Bieling's most excellent suggestion of Porto to Baiona, has got me thinking about similar 100 km or so routes. Aside from having a list of camino "tasters" in case one is restricted to a week or so, I have a personal reason for asking - I've recently been diagnosed with arthritis in my knee which stops me from walking more than 10-15 km a day but apparantly isn't bad enough for a doctor to take me seriously and to do something about it. Okaaaay..... Elle's Porto to Baiona is easy to break up into short stages so that would be another criteria - no 40 km stages. Would anyone be willing to contribute their favourite short hikes? I'll do up a list and will be happy to send it to anyone who asks.
