Norwegians are good at dancing

I can dig it, since my ancestors were originally booted out of Norway and sent packing to the US way back when. There are few things funner than busting a move out on the dance floor...uff da! Merry Xmas, Ivar! By the way - does it actually snow in Santiago?

does it actually snow in Santiago?
I have been here 3 winters now and have only seen some snow flakes once or twice..... never anything on the ground. That said, the mountains in Galicia always get some snow... There is actually an alpine ski center in southern Galicia.

Have been watching the weather lately, and it seems like the snow is at about 600-900 meters in northern Spain at the moment.

Saludos,
Ivar

Ivar, I was in Oslo for Christmas one year and we ate in two fantastic restaurants...I don't remember their names but the description says it all...in the first, we entered a large hall type setting. Over the crowd was a Moose head that "talked, sang and welcomed folks it recognized. The second, was a bit more cozy and was situated hard beside a very fast moving stream that was lit and right out side". Any memories there?

Merry Christmas Ivar and Happy Holy Days to All.

Say, did you eat at the Tapas bar in Oslo? It was a nice place - I had some good vino there back in the summer of 2005. I think I missed out on your two restaurants, though. They sound cool - wish I had done them. I think I was trying to be a bit too frugal, since that place is so spendy.

However, I did take the night cruise from Oslo to Copenhagen, and had another nice vino along with a stogie while watching the coast slip by. Taking the ship was a cool experience, because it allowed me to glimpse how my ancestors left the Old World for the New...a pilgrimage in itself...

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
