I watch this YouTube channel mainly for their history clips. Their latest one surprised me, it's on Medieval Travel and Pilgrimage. I guess the two are pretty the same thing back then.

Compare with Rome and Jerusalem, I think Santiago de Compostela is slightly less risky, just slightly...
