I'm afraid walking this year just isn't going to happen. The airfares are too high at this time and it's getting late in the year. I was hoping to walk in late September, then October.... But I have everything for my kit and I found wonderful hiking socks. Not sure I've ever had good socks before. I'm sad, but hopeful my Camino will still happen.

Anyone else had to give up this year? Do you think everything will come together next year?

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Hi Maya,

That's too bad about having to postpone your Camino.

I'm hoping to go again next year, but it depends on my finances and time. I'm jealous of Europeans sometimes--it's so easy (relatively speaking) for them to get to the Camino.

I hope you're able to go next year. It would be a shame to waste those socks. :)

I'll be lucky to still have these socks. I'm sure to wear them out by then. Aaaahh. Happy feet.
