Okay, the other half wants to go to Las Ventas to see a bull fight while in Madrid. So May it is. Looking at flights we would leave Australia probably either May 2 or 7 so arrive the day after. The plan is to spend 3 days in Madrid to play tourist and adjust.
Looking at the Hostal Mayor as it a great pilgrim friendly location, it is already booked out from the 3rd and the 8th! Is that typical?
San Isidro is the middle of the month. The Madrid Open goes to May 4. The Rugby 7s will be around but dates not yet confirmed.
What am I missing? Is there some huge event on? Or is that just typical Madrid?
