I've a flight from Dublin to Madrid Monday morning, arriving Madrid Terminal1 @ 9.55am, just carry on luggage.

(1) Do you think its possible to get the Alsa Madrid to Pamplona bus in Terminal 4 @ 10.45am?

(2) If I don't buy my ticket online in advance, can I buy from the bus driver or somewhere in T4?

(I found this previous thread about how to get from T1 to T4:

Train for your next Camino on California's Santa Catalina Island March 16-19
Hello Rsk,
I think it may be a bit too tight. Given that your flight is on time, it will take another 10 min or so to taxi along the runway and then time to get off the plane. Not sure if you have to go through passport control, but you will need to get to the shuttle and hope that there is a bus about to leave immediately. It's been a couple of years since I took the shuttle but at that time there were stops along the way at other terminals and it took 20 or 30 minutes. Another thread that may give some insight.

Yes, far too tight.

There is an ALSA counter in T4. Hours variable.

Slow a little.

1. No

2. Yes

Here is Aena Madrid website
http://www.aena.es/en/madrid-barajas-airport/index.html

There are buses from Intercambiador de Avenida de America to Pamplona. Service providers include:
-PLM Autocares (direct)
-ALSA (via Soria or Zaragosa)
Some ... but not all, buses make a stop at T4 Madrid Airport.

EMT Madrid bus #200 goes from all terminals to Avenida de America where it terminates. Its probably faster as taking the shuttle to T4.

Everyone probably knows this, but just in case -- not all buses from Av. America stop at the airport. I would just take the #200 bus as Whari describes (http://www.aena.es/en/madrid-barajas-airport/city-buses.html) from your terminal to the Av. America bus terminal and get on the next bus leaving for Pamplona. No need to buy the ticket ahead unless it's Holy Week or some big holiday, that way you can get on the first bus leaving after you arrive.

The next bus that stops at the airport will leave at 3:15 pm. But there are several more to choose from if you go to Av. America, at 12, 12:30, 2, and 2:30. Buen camino! Laurie
