Good morning all,

In January I am traveling to the Dominican Republic to stay in a small city and work with a group of nuns there. I will be staying with a local family, and I have been trying to think of an appropriate gift to share with them. Can anyone recommend a book on the Camino in Spanish that I can get here in the US before the 15th of January? I am thinking of a story of someone walking the Camino with photos. I do not know the education level of the family I will be staying with-- all I know is that they are committed (lay members) of of the Misioneras de Jesús (Missionaries of Jesus). Thanks!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
This one http://www.amazon.es/dp/B00LH0SLV2/ immediately came to my mind, written by one of the founding monks of the Rabanal monastery. No photos and not about walking the camino but as they are "committed (lay members) of of the Misioneras de Jesús (Missionaries of Jesus)" they might enjoy it. Buen Camino, SY
