Looking for a guide - Ruta del Mar

The route seems a little vague to me so I have been trying to stitch it together and need help. The only English guide book I can find in 2019 vintage which isn’t much use.
Accomadation is another question. There seems to be a reasonable amount but I suspect it will be full in the Spanish holiday season so some insight on that please.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I'll walk Del Mar this summer. Yes, it's pretty hard to get informations, I informed from foruma, mostly Here, do a search.
Author of book posted gps tracks for all etapes and also will combine it with routhes on wikiloc.
Accomodation is big problem, there is only one albergue on the way. I reservated all accomodations in February, suggesting you to reservate it on time.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
I think mine is still the only option. And yeah, I wish we could do an update--there just isn't the demand for the Mar yet to justify reprints. But, I have revisited the Mar and posted news here:

I track accommodations here (scroll down for the Mar):

I walked the Ruta do Mar back in 2016 and plenty may have changed since then. But it might be useful to take a look at my blog (starting on day 24) where I posted daily re accommodation, scenery, tracks etc with lots of photos. I absolutely loved the route and gave myself a few ‘interesting’ adventures!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Several of us have 'pioneered' this route around 2015/16 (Camino 2015 - June - July posts) and @Dave and his co-author have written an excellent guide. Yes it does date from 2019 but there are updates - many on this forum and added by @Dave . I see he has a link also to updates on his own website. Accommodation will be a challenge in some places and has improved in others. We booked before leaving home. Research both on the forum and in the various blogs should help you, and if you like maps then the various Mapas Militar for the area are good. However a photocopy of the needed pieces of each (or cut them up) is a good idea as there are 6 or 7 in total! We bought ours from 'The Map Shop' in Upton-on-Seven (2015) and they could be ordered on-line.
Enjoy the research and it would be good if you let @Dave know any updates and also post them on the forum. It only remains to say
Buen Camino

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
