Lodging in Monasteries along the Frances

Time of past OR future Camino
Frances 2016; Mansill de las Mulas to Finisterre/Muxia 2017; Aragones 2018; Suso/Yuso, Meseta 2019
While walking the Frances two years ago I was given a true gift, lodging in two very special monasteries. One was the Royal Suite in San Millan de la Cogolla. The second was the monastery in Leyre. My walking partner and I will be walking this fall including to Finisterre/Muxia and are wondering if we might be able to find other monasteries that offers lodging. I know that there are at least three, I just cannot place them. Thank you !

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Carrion de los Condes and Samos come to mind. Besides Roncesvalles. Theres likely more.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!

Samos is worth a visit and provides accomodation lies roughly between Triacastela and Sarria, if memory serves

Quinta San Francisco in Castrojeriz. A new small hotel on the grounds of and next to the ruins of the 14th century San Francisco monastery. Excellent experience. Although modern, the rooms and the overall interior design are quite monastic in their simplicity.

Monasterio de Benedictinas Santa María de Carbajal León is a lovely place to stay. Buen Camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
