Thank you. I will bring my down sleeping bag. I hope that's enough. I do not know exactly what a "liner bag" is.In France, you must bring a liner bag or rent sheets, at a minimum. Almost always (I would go ahead with "always" except there's always an exception someplace) there are blankets available at the gite.
That being said, April will still be quite cool, and I think you would be more consistently comfortable in a one-pound (half-kilo) lightweight down bag of your own.
A liner bag is essentially an overgrown pillow case. They were originally designed to be used as a liner, inside a standard sleeping bag, to improve warmth or to keep it cleaner. Typically made from some lightweight fabric such as silk, cotton muslin, or Coolmax synthetic. Nowadays, with the increased popularity of hostels (not just for pilgrims), a substitute for sheets is necessary. And a liner bag proved to be just the thing. Prices run anywhere from USD 15-50 depending on fabric and fanciness.I do not know exactly what a "liner bag" is.
