Leon to Sarria

Hola todos! I’m trying to find the best way to get from Leon to Sarria where I will start my walk. For context, when I decided to stay in Leon for a few days before my walk I saw that there were several options for getting myself to Sarria on October 3. However, now that I am ready to buy my ticket for a bus or train (tried Rome2Rio, Omio, Trainline) it’s coming up empty. 1. Any suggestions on where to look for options? 2. Is anyone is heading in same direction on the same day?

I appreciate your response! I checked out the ALSA website and did see the departure times but the itinerary was not available (so I don’t know which bus stop it is leaving from- if there is more than one). Is this a ticket that I should buy in advance or is it possible to buy same day tickets?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I found a train connection from Leon to Monfort de Lemos and then 30 min train to Sarria. Departure from Leon is once a day at 16:57. For some reason it gets into Monfort prior to mid-September too late for the 20:42 to Sarria but after that in time for it. Also if the connection is missed, taxi from Monfort to Sarria should be about 110 Euro. Use Rail Europe or Trainline or brave the idiosyncrasies of the Renfe website. Only Rail Europe found the connecting train

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Oops. It is Monforte with an "e" and not Monfort for Monforte de Lemos.
