Ledigos Bed Bugs

Time of past OR future Camino
First Camino. Starting SJPDP on August 8th, stopping along the way near Pamplona for a few weeks and starting again on August 30! (2016)
Just a heads up for those staying at El Palomar in Ledigos. I found a little black nest of bed bugs on the bed sheet just before crawling into my sleeping bag. When I informed the hospitalera she looked at it and said she would change the sheet immediately. I asked to switch beds instead (didn't sleep at all and covered myself with my bag) which she obliged. I'm not sure if anyone received any bites, but felt that I should post something for future travelers. Overall, the people at the albergue were really nice, just a bug problem.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
El Palomar in Ledigos does have wooden floor in the attic that's why it's potentially bed-bugs dangerous. But it was perfectly clean and I didn't have any thoughts about staying there.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
Overall, the place was clean and well run. What I saw appeared to be a patch of their black specked, excrement on the crease of the fitted sheet and mattress. When we examined it more closely there were a couple of the little critters sitting in the area. I moved upstairs and saw nothing. Not sure of other bugs that do the same, but could be if solely located on that bed.
