Have 3 night from Lectoure before we stay in Eauze. [ Booked there for the festival]

La Romieu ....Is it too touristy , and if not places to stay and dine on a wednesday.
Condom , was going to stay in Le Relais St Jacques
Seviac, staying in Lou Prat la Ressego

Now recommendations from friends have these places to consider instead of above;
Casteinau sur l' Auvignon
Tollet [ Ferme de Tollet]
Lamonthe [ Casa la D' Helena ] have been told Fritz has paced the baton onto Helena and its a nice place]

Any recommendations / advice appreciated.
If you want to shoot these down go for it, no worries.
* Cannot consider 2 nights and considered Lamothe for its short distance into Eauze on festival weekend.
Should i stay 2 nights in Lamothe and travel into Eauze both days??

Into your hands i commit.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
I have stayed twice at the gite at the Convent of Romieu. It was OK. You could choose either a privat room or a common room. They made arrangement for dinner if wanted. I happened to be there both times on a Sunday and the places to eat were very busy at lunchtime as it often is in France.
In Condom I stayed at the two hotels down by the river. Both were nice with good food at dinner.

I found that Le Romieu was a great place to stop - with the oversize church and all the stone cats. I stopped at a CH - L'Angeline (in the village square). Once the tourists have gone it is a lovely place to spend an evening. When you book accommodation do not dismiss some of the CHs - they are sometimes only a little more expensive that the gites.

I start walking from Cahors this Thursday and will stay at Gite d'étape privé le Couvent de la Romieu and La Casa d'Elena (Chez Elena)in Lamothe. Will report back if needed but your post is old and maybe you've already started or even finished?

Bon chemin!

It takes a while to plan Tom , you know what Angela is like.
Not leaving until 18/6 , via Scotland before flying to Toulouse.
Have requested a room with Martine @ Larressingle on 2/7
Helena @ Lamothe on the 3/7 then a short day to Eauze for the festival , staying @ Henri IV all other places booked
It should be a good day out.
Keep well my friend , early to bed and watch the "rouge"......lol
