Le Puy to Conques on mid November

Hola
Does anyone know if the weather and the availability of pensions is ok for a walk from Le Puy to Conques mid/late November. Would you need to book accomodation ahead?
Many thanks Liz

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Does anyone know the weather?
This has been such a strange year for weather, all bets are off. Check the ten-day forecast before you depart, check the forecast daily, carry layers, weatherproofs, and poles. You could encounter anything from fine fall days to early snow.
the availability of pensions
Many close on All Saints (Nov 1); get Miam Miam Dodo and start sending emails now. Then you will know.
Would you need to book accomodation ahead?
Madame and Monsiuer will not wait around for you. Even if they are claiming in MMD to be open, if you do not reserve, they will take off and do errands or visit the grandkids. The French always call a day ahead, especially because they will tend to book demi-pension.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
