Does anyone know of a great language translation app? one for a cell phone? other info on other devices would be fine too. I am doing France and Spain walk, then visiting Morocco.
I use Google Translate. My daughter in-law is from Mexico. She, her father and brothers speak English fairly well when they visit her. I use it for talking with her mother.
You can either type or speak. Translations appear and can be red or a speaker button can be pressed and it speaks the word or phrase.

You can buy language apps for iPad, iPhone, Android Apps, Blackberry apps. You can also buy digital language translators ffrom about $15 to $200 on Amazon.
I find an app called SpanishDict very good. It loads into the memory on your iPhone, so you can access the info without connecting to the internet. http://www.spanishdict.com/
I also carry a very small Spanish English dictionary. Marianne
