La Vuelta - Friday, 6 September

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I would love to hear feed back from anyone who is walking between Logrono to Belorado today. It should be an exciting day if one is into bike racing.
We stood in pouring rain in Santander and watched them go by 2 days ago. It was such a thrill!

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Eurosport/Discovery had some great aerial shots of Belorado and Najera.

It came through Padrón last Wednesday, what a lot of commotion on the Portugués. The race is cool to see but the best part was all of the neighborhood roads they fixed on Monday; crazy how fast they can get that done if they want to.
We had the same thing happen in front of San Anton several years ago when the Tour of Burgos was going to be passing there. New pavement from Hontanas to Castrojeriz and beyond in both directions. Ovidio was so pleased he gifted them with numerous bottle of his private label wine.

The helicopter shots along the CP and CF have been spectacular. It is unfortunate the US commentators, Christian Vander Velde and Bob Rolle, haven't been given a script to learn some basic facts about the Camino, bit at least they are talking about like newbies.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

The last time I stood in the rain (and sleet) for 2 days in Santander was when I aborted my walk on the Norte and took the train to Fromista and started walked south on the Canal de Castilla to Valladodid and then hooked up with the Camino Madrid in Puenta Deuro.
