Hi folks, just back from Spain. Had a great time on the Via de la Plata. Weather was ideal and the scenery was beautiful.

Also took a bit of time this year and learnt some Spanish, definitely aded to the whole experience. Used Rocket Spanish course. Just stick it on your iPod/mp3 player and off you go...http://bit.ly/cB05th
If anyone is thinking of the Via de la Plata I would say go for it. Much quieter and more enjoyable than the Camino Frances ( in my humble opinion
