Time of past OR future Camino
Hoping to do a short stretch from Negreira to Muxia in May 2015. Still at the planning stage.
So tomorrow lunchtime, I fly to Santiago and the adventure begins. I'm feeling some trepidation but also excitement. I've never done anything like this and, whilst I realise Santiago to Muxia via Finisterre is nothing compared to the main Camino, it's enough of an undertaking for me right now.

The temperature has ramped up higher than I might have liked but I know I shouldn't complain about that!!!

Wish me luck!

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Go slowly! Have fun. Buen camino.
Thank you. Well, we'll go at whatever speed necessary to reach our next night's accommodation. We've pre-booked every night!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).

Hello, you will have a great time. It's a nice walk to the coast. I wish you well and a Buen Camino, Peter.

Quick practicality question. The bus from Santiago Airport appears to stop at Santiago bus station, train station and convention centre. Which one is the most convenient for the start of the Camino, to the northwest of the cathedral? (Sorry, I can't get Google Maps to open at the moment!)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Good luck and Buen Camino!

Have a very nice walk! That is a very special route. The Bus Station I think is the closest, they have city maps just about everywhere

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
