IRYO trains in Spain

Wondering if anyone has used the new train option in Spain called IRYO.
Seems it is a new high speed discount train option in Spain. I am looking at the trains from Madrid to Logrono and the option that includes IRYO option is substantially cheaper. I would love to choose the cheaper option, but want to make sure I am not making a mistake ... you know the old saying "you get what your pay for". I appreciate any help. Thank you

I cannot speak for the IRYO option, but the Ouigo option from Madrid to Zaragoza and Barcelona is also very cheap. You are crammed in like sardines with very little legroom. The AVE trains are much nicer with more room and amenities. I thought with IRYO you could buy different classes? Madrid to Logrono should be a very short trip though so you can probably stand anything for a short period of time.

IRYO is a new train company in Spain which is competing for market-share with the other three companies now offering high-speed trains on certain routes. Owned by Italy’s Trenitalia and Air Nostrum, IRYO uses the high-speed Frecciarosa ( “Red Arrow”) trains— the same ones used in Italy. They are excellent trains and since there are now four train companies, they all are competing for the consumer market in Spain. No other country in Europe has as many companies competing for the public’s business and this is why you are seeing competitive pricing.
