....getting to Spain and walking all day and not needing to pick up the plums from the ground and make jam after a 23km morning walk, and not needing to cook for people coming over for dinner on the same day and not needing to feed the sourdough starter and make kombucha and take the compost out and water the garden.....I don’t mind all these things, in fact there is quite some satisfaction in doing them, but I am really looking forward to having a break from them. I am keenly aware what a privilege this is.
