If you’re near Santiago now, what are you wearing?

I leave in 30 hours for a short 100 km Camino. I’ve been planning this for a while and was anticipating temperature of 45-65 degrees. Now the weather network is saying I can expect 55-75+ degrees.

So, if you’re in the vicinity of Santiago, what are you wearing? Shorts? Short sleeves? Do I still need a fleece? And can I swap out the sleeping bag for a lightweight liner and blanket?

I planned for one type of weather, and it looks like I’ll be dealing with something else. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I agree with SY - I'm wearing fleece, pants, socks and shoes in the morning, shorts and sandals from lunchtime until around 7pm, and then warmer clothes again until bedtime. Galicia is the land of layers . It would be wise to plan for the overnight lows (since it can still be that cold in the early morning and the sun doesn't rise until 8:40am and then takes a while to actually warm up the air), but bring shorts for the warmth of mid-day.

Hope that helps...?? Enjoy all the planning and Buen Camino!
Faith
