Camino Frances through to Fisterra in June to July 2012
Plan to walk the Camino Frances through to Fisterra again in 2014.
But, if anyone can remember this far back, I walked the Camino in June 2012 until we reached Finisterre in July, and I was wondering if anyone else walked it then and heard about a group of 'crazy english guys' walking it, one of whom was me.
I remember speaking to a couple of pilgrims whilst walking it myself and they said they'd heard of them and they were flabbergasted to actually find us. Did anyone else hear about us?
We basically just sang jovial songs whilst walking it and wondering if anyone heard of us, we were in a group of 4 of us english guys up until Astorga when we split up due to me staying back with a injured Pilgrim. When we walked there was us and 4 other people making a total of 8.
I was just wondering if anyone may have recognised us or seen us seen as I remember the majority of the pilgrims I met and saw whilst walking it.

And also feel free to tell stories of people who you met on the Camino.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I remember a group of (I think four) crazy English guys the day I walked out of Puente la Reina. They had been walking together in England earlier that year I think. I thought they were crazy because they were walking crazy distances haha, but otherwise were very jovial and good to say g'day to. Was that you guys?

Yeah it may have been is actually. We were always happy and we did do crazy distances a lot. We often went over 30km each day we walked for some strange reason haha.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
