Vueling are / have been pretty good providing credit for unused tickets, have you looked at that option?

It’s will depend on the fare rules of the ticket and also check their general rules around when the ticket was booked as there are some general rules related to this which may not be on the T and Cs on the ticket.

It may be cheaper to book another ticket than pay to change the name. Ryanair on the same date from Stansted costs £38.39 including taxes.
