How to keep eyeglasses from fogging up?

Time of past OR future Camino
CF (2015) and (2019) Ingles 2019
I don't have the option of NOT wearing corrective lenses and my past experience walking in April & May involved many episodes of foggy lenses in the cold early mornings. Do any of you Peregrinos have any successful remedies for this?

9 Tricks to Keep Glasses from Fogging Up this Winter

Use commercial anti-fog wipes, paste or spray,

This item also has cleaning properties that may be suitable for your foggy glasses:

An old scuba diver's trick is to spit onto the inside of the face mask to stop fogging , unsavory to some it works well but doesn't last . Otherwise try rubbing a soft Sterene, rather than Bee's wax , birthday candle gently and sparingly onto both sides of the lenses and polishing off . The resulting coating isn't visible and stops fogging for ages . Automotive wax can work just as well and is more effective but harder to carry n your pack :)

Ventilation.
ensure there is a gap between the top of the lens and your face, try raising your hat or buff by approx an inch or so, this way there will be adequate ventilation to keep the mist away.

I love these suggestions; I had lots of fogging problems last May on my Camino, whenever I labored up hills, huffing and puffing. It was bad enough to make me consider bringing contacts. I don't relish adding shaving foam to my pack this summer, but maybe a tiny birthday candle or sliver of white soap...

If you use toothpaste, use the gel type. It doesn't scratch.

Thank you all for these great ideas! I see I'm not the only one with this nuisance. I will experiment with an old pair of glasses to see how some of these ideas work. Unfortunately, my new $850 glasses (cheap frames, too, but with very severe myopia, etc., so lenses are pricey) are kind of close to my face and I have a bump on my nose from a fracture so distance from face is tricky. But, there are lots of things to try. I just don't want to miss anything this Spring while surrounded by all things Camino! Thanks everyone!
