How to get to Ponte de Lima?

Camino del Norte in bits 'n pieces
I'm flying to Porto, but I only have one week to walk. So I was thinking of starting at Ponte de Lima. Does anyone know how to get from Porto (airport) to Ponte de Lima?
I found this bus, but it leaves at 15.30 and my plane lands 14.50, so that is too close, I guess.

Or should I change my plan and start somewhere else?

Thank you all!

Everything depends on the daily kilometres you can handle.

That depends on the stage profile :-)
On the Norte I did stages between 20 and 45 km... 25-30 on average.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Thanks. I'll contact that Ovnitur company, although it's not that perfect (one bus in the middle of the night on Sundays :-) ).

Gronze is a great website, but it should be translated into English. And the coastal Portuguese camino should be added.

Well I think it is kind of refreshing that it is only in Spanish. After all the Camino ends in Spain ;).
If you want an English guide of the coastal Portugues our distinguished forummember @JohnnieWalker wrote them and updated it this year.

Ideal pocket guides for during & after your Camino. Each weighs only 1.4 oz (40g)!
You might want to look for a train. We took a train from Porto to Barcelos. Very easy and quick but I don't know if they go to Ponte de Lima

From the Rome 2 Rio app, Ovnitur departs the airport at 1800. May be some T&Cs on that, site is in Portuguese.

That's for working days (dias uteis) and I'm arriving on a Sunday :-( Allas! Thanks anyway!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

I might take the train to Caminha and do the coastal route. Thanks for the idea!

Hi I'm travelling to Burgos to walk part of the Camino Frances next year and my options seems to be fly into Santander and coach to Burgos, or fly into Madrid, then coach to Burgos. Don't think...
Hello! I’ve been browsing the forum and there’s plenty of info for baggage transfers from stage to stage, where you pick it up daily, give it back and move on, however what I’m after is a service...
