How do i send someone on this site a private message

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Sorry, but I have searched and can't find a way to do this.
Thanks for any help

There may be an easier way but here is what I do:

Move the mouse cursor over your username at the top-right of the screen. When the drop-down menu appears click on "Conversations". There is then a box for "start a new conversation". Click that, enter the forum name of the person you want to contact in the search box and then click on them when they appear in a drop-down list. Then type your message in the large text box and post when finished. When someone sends you a reply you will see a little red icon beside your username on the top-right of the page. Go to "Conversations" to read and reply.

Edit: the moment I posted this I saw there is a shortcut on the list of posts. Under "Recent Posts" you can just click on "Private Conversations". Saves one click!

Up on the top right of each page is your name, "Inbox" and "Alerts".
Click "Inbox."
Towards the bottom of the new page is a button labelled "Start a new conversation."
Click and go.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
It doesn't seem to work for everyone. I think some members have opted out of conversation.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Thanks folks, I got most of the way but got"Error occured", "Please enter at least one valid recipient."
Fine but where do I put this?

In the top box of the picture below.
Topic subject in the one below that.
Message in the big box below that.
Send the message by clicking the "Start a Conversation" button (not a great name for this.)
conversation.webp

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Even easier... click on the persons avatar. A black box will pop up. Click on "Start a conversation".
That's the way I've always done it for a private conversation with just one other person. I've never done a conversation with more than one other person, but the method suggested by others is probably the best (only?) way for multi-party conversations.
