Hello everyone!
I am doing the Camino Ingles now , and it's going great, i arrived to Betanzos, tomorrow i will go to Hospital de Bruma, but i can't seem to find not expensive albergues pr hotel there? Do you have any recommendation?
Thank you so much!

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
Have you tried the places listed on the Gronze website? The Xunta albergue will not take reservations but may have beds when you get there.

There is the Xunta albergue and a private one.

And on the main road is Hotel Canaima.

A selection of Camino Jewellery
Xunta albergue opens at 2:00 and not many people have arrived at that time last year. There is a restaurant across the road and they seem to have accommodation, but I don't know the price, etc.

The Xunta albergue has 10 bunk beds and an extra single for handicapped pilgrims for a total of 20 beds at least as of last fall 2022.

8The thing to remember is that Bruma is a crunch point for Camino from A Coruña and from Ferrol as they meet there.

I walked it last fall and I got there about 11:30 there were 12 or 13 people already waiting because of the crunch. It's a good opportunity to meet other travelers while you wait for it to open but don't be late.

We walked the ingles 2 weeks ago and found if you can get to the albergue by 1 you should be ok as both the albergues were full by 13 30.
We stayed at the pension op novo , a little off track but ok and the hotel is just across the road 👍

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
I realize that this is too late for the OP, but nearby in Mesón do Vento are some inexpensive lodging opportunities, Mesón Novo Pensión and Hotel Canaima. It’s about a kilometer and a half from the old Xunta albergue. A few guide books supply an inset map for getting to Mesón, such as the Village to VIllage guide and Brierly. There is also a cafe/restaurant and an ATM in the town.

All the best,
Paul

If you want to use either of the above options after passing Casa avelina ( a must stop the ladies are brill ) just follow the road straight down to the roundabout and do a left , both accommodations are just in front and you can re join the Camino by taking the road on the left just after the pension novo
Do check your maps as you have to take a right after a short distance
