Hot springs/hot tubs along Coastal Portuguese Camino?

I'm going to go the Coastal Portuguese and will appreciate if anyone knows about hot springs or hotels with hot tubs available along the route.

There are natural hot springs in Caldas de Reis. A number of hotels and spas have pools using them. Sadly pilgrims are specially requested not to stick their feet in the public hot fountain near the town hall.

Hi Luz, you don’t mention what budget you are on, but if money is no problem, then you should find what you are looking for, as Bradypus says, in Caldas de Reis, at some very nice hotels.

I’ve stayed a couple of times at the Hotel Dávila. It’s a wonderful, old-fashioned, affordable hotel, and I can recommend it if you are travelling on a budget. You feel as though you are in an Agatha Christie murder mystery of the 1930s. At breakfast you are surrounded by extremely old retired couples in their dressing gowns, having just come in from their hot spa treatment. The waitress knows exactly what beverage to bring them as though they have been there forever. It is seriously scarey. Jill

I'm thinking of walking the Camino Sanabres later this year. One particular attraction for me is the chance to use the public hot spring pools by the river in Orense. Might come in very handy.

That is so funny. We stayed in a hotel like that. Le Grand Hotel in the mountains in France when we were on our way to St Jean Pied de Port. A fabulous place that sounds a lot like yours. We had a beautiful dinner and wine, while the people who were "TAKING THE WATERS" all had lentil soup, lettuce salad and water. We felt so decadent. There were even potted palms in the lounge.

Jill, You couldn't have described the Hotel Dávila any better. It was like staying in a retirement home. We even had a massage that was very reasonable....a nice treat. A great town to stay in as you near Santiago.

There's also Talaso Atlantico just after Mougas but before Baiona where you can stay. It's a 4-star hotel with an amazing seawater spa.
