Well friends, there I go again. This time I´ll be serving from 1st to 15th of March in the lovely Municipal Albergue ( Donativo) of Villadangos del Paramo, 20 kilometers after Leon.
Never been there before but my Hospitalero mates of HOSVOL said it´s a good place to serve, and GRONCE pilgrim´s reviews rates it like a wonderfull place to stay.
If any of you decides to stay there one nigth you´ll be welcome, maybe we can cook together a communal dinner: If need to use the facilities, have a cup of coffe, maybe a glass of red, or just say hi, you´ll find the door open, the heating on and the kettle boiling.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I just read the reviews on Gronze and it sounds like the Four Seasons on muni albergues!

My husband stayed there shortly after it re-opened with the updates in 2021. Lovely place, but the water is heated by solar and it was a cloudy day so he had a "cool" shower. At that time they were doing a communal meal. Best wishes! We will be volunteering at Arrés the first half of June this year!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

Looks like now the heating and the hot water works by gas.
My best wishes to you for your stay in Arres. I served there five years ago, and it was wonderful.
