Hi, does anyone know if the above pilgrim hostel will still be open around 11th / 12th Dec? I believe it's open year-round, but there's very little other accommodation in the area & I don't want to get caught out.

Many thanks!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
The Xunta albergues are supposed to be open all year round but some do close for short periods in the off season for maintenance and refurbishment. So it will probably be open but I would confirm nearer the time. The hospitaleros in other albergues should know of any closures.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
There is also Albergue San Lorenzo in Bruma. Cost us 20€ each in September this year. But yes, very limited accomodation in that area. Maybe contact them too.

BTW - There is only one restaurant in Bruma too.

Closes from the 30th of November for the season.

In my experience if a Xunta albergue will be closed, the information is posted on a flyer at other nearby Xunta albergues. That was the case this summer when the downtown Palas de Rey albergue was closed for some updates. We saw the flyer posted at Portomarin in the Xunta albergue there and inquired about it.

Perfect memento/gift in a presentation box. Engraving available, 25 character max.
